Igloo Garage Sale

Know this. If you want to ever get a high score on this game, you must receive the bonus points available at the end of each round. Roughly translated, you must not let anything drop without you catching it (minus the bad ones e.g. bomb (totally whacked chia) and piano (instant game over)). Why? The neopoint bonuses are ridiculously high! One round of bonus can amount to the equivalent of beating three rounds.

One of the hardest aspects of this game is the elastic effect. Because your character is moving along ice, he is susceptible to sliding gracefully across ice (yeah right!). Therefore, when you move across the ice, be careful to move slowly unless you must make a dash for a fast moving item. If you are faced with two dropping items on both sides of the screen, run fast towards one side, and while you are halfway there, press and hold the opposite direction arrow. This is because when you change direction, your character will slide towards the original direction and then change direction instantly once you catch that item!

With slow moving items, the wily chia at the top will usually be sneaky and drop a fast item a few seconds after. To beat this, stand directly under the slow item and jump up for it, leaving you extra time to make a dash towards the fast dropping item.

With the jumping aspect, be careful not to jump when there are more than two items close to each other as then you will lose time (you cannot move unless you are on the ground). Although jump touch may save you some time, it is very risky.

If you are unlucky and find yourself unable to reach both items (either because you cannot or piano blocks your path), then simply grab the item which you are able to grab, or the item that will give you more points. For example, if you had the choice between a one hundred point item and a two point item, normally, you would opt for the one hundred point item.

Drop five items in one level and it's game over. Oh well, at least you collected your bonuses :) Time to send score and receive all the neopoint gains woohoo!

Like any game, this game requires practice to make perfect.
